Since Spring 2013 the Women of Ventura County have been pooling their money to make BIG impact in our community. Here are some recent highlights:
Community Vibes Garage was voted in for fourth quarter 2023. We can't wait to hear how the funds are used to support this unique program. https://www.communityvibesgarage.com/
Community Vibes Garage is a non profit teaching adolescents and young adults basic auto mechanics and auto restoration. They work on cars whose owners do not have the resources to pay for maintenance and repair. 100 Women Who Care Ventura County received 79 donations ($7900) and we are applying for a 50% matching grant (additional $3950) for a total of $11,850. Funds are earmarked to purchase a 25' enclosed trailer to store tools, equipment, and a restoration project vehicle). As CVG does not have their own garage, this will be a great asset for them!
